Vikas Tomar.
I'm Vikas Tomar, a software engineer. I build AI agents, automation, and software that handle the work a business repeats, so it happens consistently and the people there can focus on the work that needs them. I work remotely from India, and every project lands with its source and the notes to run it yourself.
If your business spends staff hours on work that repeats every week, I build the software that does that work reliably, then hands it over running. That covers a lot of ground: AI assistants your customers or your own people talk to, agents that watch operations and act when something needs doing, software that connects tools that do not talk to each other, and scheduled work that runs and reports without supervision. You keep the source, the documentation, and the ability to run it yourself.
The projects on this site are examples of work I have done. They show the shape of what I take on, not the only things I build.
Why this way
Most engagements start the same way: a job that repeats every week, or a set of tools that don't talk to each other. A booking system that can't tell staff from guests. A spreadsheet doing the work of a real pipeline. Data trapped in one system and re-typed everywhere else.
I build the thing that ends that: the agent, the automation, or the product that does the job, and I hand it over with the source and the how-to so it stays running after I'm gone. If you already know the stack you want, say so up front. If you don't, describe what it should do when we're done, and I'll pick the right approach.

How I work
Scope and pricing
I provide a quote after reviewing your brief. There is no public price list. For projects where the requirements are still evolving, we begin with a fixed, time-boxed first phase so the direction and budget are clear from the start.
Intellectual property
You own the source code and documentation for all paid work, unless the agreement defines a specific license. I do not reuse your data, prompts, or private code on other client work.
Confidentiality
I will sign a non-disclosure agreement before we discuss detailed work if you require one.
Privacy
Your company and project details stay confidential unless the agreement allows otherwise. I never turn client work into a public case study without your written permission.
Delivery and handover
You receive the source code, deployment documentation, and defect-fix support after delivery as part of the engagement.
Ongoing support
Handover is the standard outcome. If you need me to continue monitoring or supporting the system, we scope that as a separate maintenance agreement.
Communication
Remote engagement based in India Standard Time, via email or Telegram. We agree a reporting cadence in the scope. I do not run daily stand-ups unless the work genuinely requires them.
